1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Tirelab handles information when you visit, explore racing data, make an optional support payment, or contact us. “Tirelab,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the independent operator of this website.
2. Information processed when you visit
Hosting and security providers may process your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages or resources, request timestamps, response information, and information used to detect errors, abuse, or security threats.
This helps deliver and protect the website and diagnose problems. Some information is processed by infrastructure providers rather than stored directly by Tirelab’s application. Request IP addresses may also be used temporarily in server memory for rate limiting.
3. Browser storage and cached racing data
Tirelab uses browser storage to remember preferences, such as theme, and, where enabled, cache racing data for faster loading. Cached racing data concerns events and sessions, not your payment details.
You can remove locally stored information using your browser’s site-data controls. This may reset preferences and cause data to be downloaded again.
4. Support payments
Stripe processes optional support payments and may collect your email, payment details, billing information, device information, and information needed for payment security and fraud prevention.
Full card numbers and security codes are handled by Stripe and its payment partners. Tirelab’s application server does not receive or store those details.
We can access transaction information through Stripe, such as amount, date, status, contact information provided at checkout, and limited payment-method information. We use it for payment administration, receipts, refunds, inquiries, recordkeeping, and applicable obligations. Stripe’s Privacy Policy is available at https://stripe.com/privacy.
5. Information you send us
When you contact us, we receive the information in your message, including your email, name if provided, and request details. We use it to respond, investigate problems, and handle payment or privacy requests. Do not send full card numbers, security codes, passwords, or other sensitive credentials.
6. How we use information
We use information as reasonably necessary to operate Tirelab, remember preferences, improve loading, diagnose errors, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, process and administer support payments, respond to messages and refund requests, and comply with applicable legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.
7. Service providers and external content
This site uses Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, and security; Upstash for server-side racing-data caching; OpenF1 for motorsport data and associated recordings; and Stripe for checkout, payments, and payment security.
Your browser may request external resources, including fonts from Google Fonts, Stripe interfaces, or audio recordings from their source hosts. Providers may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser information.
Racing-data caches are separate from Stripe payment records and do not store full card details. Providers process information under their applicable roles, agreements, and privacy policies. Their systems may be located outside your country.
8. When information may be disclosed
We may disclose relevant information to service providers operating Tirelab or processing payments; to investigate abuse, fraud, or security incidents; to comply with law or valid legal requests; to protect legal rights or others’ safety; or with your direction or consent.
We do not sell personal information or use support-payment information for advertising.
9. Cookies, third-party technologies, and browser signals
Tirelab uses browser storage for preferences and, where enabled, racing-data caching. Payment, security, and other third-party providers may use cookies or similar technologies for their functions.
Tirelab does not use its own application code to track visitors across unrelated websites for advertising. Browser “Do Not Track” signals do not currently change Tirelab’s operation. Third-party services may handle browser privacy signals differently; consult their policies.
10. Retention
Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including support, security, accounting, and applicable legal obligations.
Retention varies: preferences can remain until cleared; cached racing data expires or is replaced; payment records are maintained through Stripe; provider logs follow provider policies and configured settings. We may retain information to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or meet legal requirements.
11. Your choices and requests
You can clear local site data and choose whether to pay or contact us. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing.
Contact support@tirelabf1.com to make a request. We may verify your identity. Information may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security, or payment reasons. You may also contact Stripe about information it processes independently.
12. Children’s privacy
Tirelab is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
13. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections and access controls appropriate to the service. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as features, providers, or legal obligations change. The current version will appear here with its effective date. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required by law.
